Knock, Knock. Who's there?

My sons think I am obsessed with Prague's doors. They might be right. This one is on the side of Prague Castle's Saint Vitus Cathedral.

Taking the train outside of Prague (Praha) Sunday to visit our friend Manou, her husband-to-be Mark, their daughters Suzanne and Lucie, and Manou's extended Czech family. Great to see old friends!

If you look in the dictionary under "jet lag," you should find this photo of my oldest son early Saturday morning in the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris after the overnight from Boston. He opened his eyes long enough to catch the next flight to Prague.

We left Boston Friday amidst global terror alerts and the closure of U.S. Embassies in 20-plus countries around the world—a bit disconcerting. Having lived in NYC on 9/11, we tend to just think this is now just the reality of the world we live in, sadly enough. Many thanks to our friend who loaned us her neck pillows to try to catch some sleep on the red eye.
